At each, you'll photograph flora and fauna under the mentorship of David, a local creative who grew up amid this windswept beauty spot. 

The experience takes place in the late afternoon and concludes with golden hour and sunset at the Dunes of Concón. Starting at the reed-lined wetlands, you'll encounter such birdlife as pelicans and perritos (white-backed stilts). Afterwards, you'll pause for coffee and empanada at Surf Beach (Playa La Boca). La Boca, one of the prettiest and most beguiling neighborhoods, is the stage of the photoshoot. Bernardo will be guided by the natural light, using external flashes and modifiers when needed to create a soft atmosphere for photography. This experience invites you to read Herculaneum as a city caught mid-life by the AD 79 eruption of Vesuvius. You follow basalt streets, pause at corner fountains, and look into shops where stone counters still hold recessed jars. Wood endured here as charcoal—doors, beams, even furniture outlines—so kitchens, stairways, and upper floors remain readable. Worn thresholds and bakeries with mills and ovens make daily habits visible, while pyroclastic surges and mud sealed what they touched.

You'll trace the ancient shoreline, now inland, including the vaulted boat sheds (known as the fornici), the site’s starkest memory, the place where people sought refuge in a last desperate attempt to escape. Nearby, the Baths show pools, mosaics, changing rooms, and underfloor heating. You'll also discover the House of Neptune and Amphitrite with its mosaic, the College of the Augustales with painted panels, and the House of the Wooden Partition with its sliding screen.

This city known for its wine is just gorgeous. Though hot in summer, it is stunning! Definitely worth a visit and if you have time the surroundings small town also known for their wine. 

In Bordeaux, be sure to walk down rue sainte Catherine, the longest pedestrian street in Europe! There will be plenty of shopping to do, and the main square with the cathedral is also a must see. The bell tower is not attached to the church and is able to be climbed for gorgeous views.

The most exciting thing about not planning my stay was getting lost to find myself in small places rich in gastronomy, flavors that I never experienced before, local markets with the best ambient and desserts that made every minute in this city worthwhile.

Kakadu National Park is half the size of Switzerland and a real adventure. If you rent a car, you could drive along the road for weeks, camping in different places and experiencing nature in a way you can't anywhere else.

After leaving Darwin in a rented 4x4 jeep, we made the long drive to Kakadu National Park. Take plenty of drinks and snacks with you, as there aren't many stops on the road. Along the way, we visited several refreshing waterholes and waterfalls, had an open-air barbecue, and saw many birds, snakes, anthills, and farmland along the way.

At night we mostly stayed at campsites that provided tents, and the beauty of the night is incomparable. You can hear, smell, and see countless species of animals, from alligators swimming in lakes at night to dingoes howling, to weirdly chirping insects.

We hiked to a hidden waterfall and discovered some hundreds-of-years-old wooden paintings done by the ancestors of Australia's indigenous people. A must-see in Australia for sure!
