Milagro Campos Llontop, Mila, is a Lima-based cultural guide, artist, and educator with over ten years of experience in heritage interpretation and socially responsible tourism. She studied Drawing and Painting at the National School of Fine Arts of Lima and holds a specialization in Sustainable Tourism.

She has worked at several museums and archaeological sites across Lima as a local guide and educational program designer and is one of the few official tour guides in the city specializing in Indigenous Folk Art. In 2022, Mila founded an Indigenous art experience project in collaboration with master women artisans from the Shipibo-Konibo Amazonian community based in Lima. Working directly with the president of the community, the project supports cultural revitalization and generates direct economic income for more than 200 master women artisans.

Born and raised in Cusco, Dr. Nino del Solar is a Peruvian archaeologist passionate about studying and sharing the quieter Andean stories that often go unnoticed. He holds a PhD in Archaeological Sciences and a Masters in Human and Social Sciences, both acquired at Bordeaux Montaigne University, France.

Since 2022, Nino has been Head of the Department of Archaeological Research at the National Archaeological Park of Machu Picchu, under Peru's Ministry of Culture. He is an accredited researcher in Peru and delivers academic lectures and presentations on archaeology, cosmology, and other specializations. His primary interests include cultural heritage mediation and archaeomaterials in Andean archaeology.

Fluent in Spanish, English, and French, Nino has a knack for connecting with global travelers, sharing his perspective in both academic and conversational settings. When he is not working, he enjoys walking through Cusco with his cocker spaniel, Nena.

Take your Japanese culinary experience to the next level in this cooking demonstration workshop involving the preparation of a 3-course, home-style meal. Far from the elaborate kaiseki meals that can be prepared only by chefs who have spent years honing their skills, Mami, a local chef and pâtissier, shows you how to create a simple heartfelt meal that you can prepare in your own home using local, seasonal ingredients. The dishes include a vegetable dish, a fish dish and a sushi - the actual ingredients change with the seasons - which you'll then eat.

Set in a stylish century-old liquor shop, you’ll also enjoy three types of Japanese sake that will be paired with the courses. As the entire experience is conducted only in Japanese, your host Eric, using his own background as a Kyoto-based chef, will explain the details throughout your time here. Along the way, you’ll gain insight into the traditional Japanese approach to food, built on harmony, seasonality and visual presentation. 

This experience offers rare insight into everyday Kyoto cuisine. Chef Mami walks you through each step of a seasonal three-course meal, explaining how the average Kyoto resident selects ingredients, balances flavors, and adapts to what’s available. Originally from Toronto, Canada, Eric has been living in Kyoto for over 22 years. He first came to Kyoto to complete his Master’s degree in Japanese Art History and has worked as a teacher and translator. Since 2022, he has been running a monthly pop-up restaurant, serving Cantonese-inspired dishes. Well connected with the art and culinary communities in Kyoto, he is eager to share this wonderful city with visitors. 

This experience begins with a walk through the historic center of Tempio Pausania, known as the “City of Stone” for its granite buildings. The route leads to the old railway station, a Liberty-style building opened in 1931, with original wooden interiors and pictures by Sardinian artist Giuseppe Biasi.

The highlight is a private, exclusive performance by the Coro Gabriel, one of Sardinia’s oldest vocal ensembles. They sing the tasgia, a rare polyphonic chant that evolved from the UNESCO-listed canto a tenore. Unlike its predecessor, the tasgia features all four voices singing lyrics and includes improvisational shifts in tone and harmony, echoing elements of jazz. With fewer than twenty practitioners left, this is a rare chance to hear it live.

Gianmario, a native of Tempio and a member of the choir, shares insights into this evolving tradition. His ties to the group offer an intimate perspective on Sardinian culture, set in the town that has long been the cultural heart of Gallura.

What makes this experience special is the rare chance to meet the singers themselves and hear the tasgia performed in a setting that enhances both its sound and meaning. This chant survives only in northern Sardinia, and is normally preserved within small, tight-knit communities. Here, it opens up to you.

The performance takes place inside Tempio’s old train station, a quiet, evocative building from the 1930s. It's the only public site in Sardinia where you can still see original murals by Giuseppe Biasi, one of Sardinia’s most important painters, whose work shaped the island’s modern visual identity.

Gianmario Pedroni is a Sardinia-born professional photographer. After honing his skills in England, he specialized in advertising, fashion, and design, collaborating with prominent photographers and brands. In 2009, he returned to Sardinia to establish his studio, focusing on the island's breathtaking landscapes and vibrant culture. He is also a singer in a traditional choir that performs the tasgia, one of Sardinia’s rarest polyphonic chants, and has long been immersed in the region’s musical heritage, especially the vocal traditions of Gallura.

Join Amanda in her peaceful courtyard in Marrakesh for a private Moroccan cooking session rooted in local ingredients and traditional techniques. The experience begins with a refreshing herbal tea, like hibiscus and Moroccan cinnamon, all sourced from Amanda’s own organic farms.
