With Marco's expert guidance, you'll explore the city's enchanting alleyways, hidden spots and secretive sides seldom seen by visitors, all while honing your photography skills. From pre-arranged shooting sessions with elaborately costumed models in secluded locations to sunrise/sunset captures in emblematic squares, this workshop offers a comprehensive journey through Carnevale's splendor. 

The Venice Carnevale has deep-rooted origins dating back to the era of the "Serenissima." The zenith of Venice's opulence in the sixteenth century witnessed lavish festivities, where the anonymity afforded by masks blurred societal distinctions among citizens, fostering a unique sense of equality across class, age, and wealth. This experience is very special, as it captures the true ethos of Carnevale. 

Through a carefully curated 24-hour itinerary spread over three days, you are immersed in the art and culture of Venice. Activities are designed to capture Venice's myriad facets, from its serene mornings to the magical twilight ambiance. Argentina

This photography experience takes you front and backstage at an iconic tango show in the San Telmo district of Buenos Aires. Hosted by a professional photographer, the activity starts with a 30-minute introductory talk in a San Telmo cafe where you'll learn about the camera settings and techniques required for shooting moving objects in low light. After this, you will walk a short distance to the theater where the rest of the evening plays out over photography, art, dining, and conversation.

Once seated at a premium table with a clear view of the stage, you will photograph the dancers and orchestra without obstructions. Dinner is served during the show, while Bernardo mentors you through the photography and shares cultural insights into tango culture. At a convenient moment, you will access the backstage area for the opportunity to meet and photograph the tango dancers while they prepare their make-up and costumes ahead the show.

This rare-access experience puts an immersive twist on the typical Buenos Aires tango show. Hosted by a globally published photographer from Buenos Aires, you will view this splendid performance from the perspective of an artist. The experience includes a workshop in photography, addressing how to configure your camera, composition, and techniques for shooting dancers. This enables you to capture incredible photographs during the show itself which takes place in a traditional tango house in the bohemian neighbourhood of San Telmo. Going backstage is the highlight of this experience. A full-day gastronomic adventure that takes you through the enchanting landscapes of Istria, Croatia. This experience begins with a pick-up from your accommodation, ensuring a seamless start. EatIstria guide picks up the guests at their accommodation, followed by a drive to our first stop, a truffle-hunting family in the surroundings of Motovun forest in central Istria. After a welcome drink, the guests are taken to the forest for a truffle hunt with the family's specially trained dogs. A three-course, all truffle-based brunch follows, accompanied by a short lecture on truffle hunting. Before the departure, the guests get to visit the family's shop with a wide assortment of truffle-based products. 

The next stop is Istria's most renowned free-range goat farm, where guests get to hear a short lecture on the production of cheese and herding the goats, meet the animals, and sample the renowned cheese. The guests are then driven back to their accommodation.

Step into the workshop of Francesco Serra, a master goldsmith carrying forward the legacy of Dorgali’s filigree tradition, among the finest in the world. For over 40 years, Francesco has transformed threads of gold and silver into intricate jewelry, working entirely by hand with tools and techniques passed down through generations.

You'll learn how Sardinian filigree is created—from raw materials to the delicate process that gives each piece its unique character. In his studio, Francesco introduces the region’s iconic forms: traditional wedding rings, ornate buttons worn on bridal gowns, and pendants that tell stories of Sardinia’s past. He also shares his family’s history, showing old photographs taken in the same space where his workshop now stands.

You'll hear about the area’s centuries-old link to gold and silver mining and the ancient repoussé and chasing technique that Francesco still practices. While rooted in tradition, he also explores contemporary designs.

This is a moderately challenging private trek to the revered Muslim shrine of Sidi Chamarouch, starting from Imlil. This trek takes you through the traditional village of Aremd and ascends to 2350m (7710ft) at Sidi Chamarouch, positioned by a picturesque waterfall. 

While the shrine itself is not accessible to non-Muslims, the area around it offers a peaceful reflective spot for a picnic and stunning views across the Atlas Mountains and up towards the summit of Toubkal. Overall, the Sidi Chamarouch trek offers a profound glimpse into the Amazigh (Berber) spirituality, providing visitors with a deeper understanding of the region’s cultural tapestry.  

On this trek, you'll follow the same scenic route both to and from Sidi Chamarouch as it's part of the trail leading to the Toubkal Summit. This itinerary reflects what Manila calls the “true essence of Catalonia” — a place of cultural pride, natural beauty, and distinct local identity. Manila first arrived in Barcelona more than two decades ago, while finishing her studies in Rome. She needed an internship for her thesis and chose Barcelona without expecting how quickly she’d feel at home.“Barcelona, 22 years ago, was a different place,” she says. “It was less cosmopolitan, more local. I remember wandering through narrow streets and finding tiny bars with real flamenco. It felt genuinely lived in.”
 “Tourism has definitely changed things,” she admits. “Places like La Rambla are overcrowded. Many locals have been pushed out by the rise in tourist rentals. But Catalans are proud of their traditions. They’ve started resisting these changes to preserve the city’s character.” That character is what Manila has grown to love. “I chose Barcelona because I felt an immediate connection. The Mediterranean lifestyle, the weather, the proximity to mountains and sea — it feels like home but also stretches me outside my comfort zone.” She relishes the contrast to her native Sicily. “I can take a train and be skiing in the Pyrenees in just over an hour. Where else do you get that?”
What keeps her in Barcelona is the balance of tradition and openness. “The cuisine, the olive groves, the vineyards — they remind me of southern Italy, but they’re uniquely Catalan.” And the city’s connectivity has made it easy to stay rooted while maintaining close ties to Italy. She speaks with admiration about the people: “Catalans are proud, resilient, and united. They have a strong sense of identity and community. Whether through demonstrations or cultural festivals, they come together. They’re efficient and organized, but also keep that relaxed Mediterranean vibe. It’s a unique combination.”

“In my youth,” he recalls, “many people came here, to the Algarve, and my family—like many others—had small farms. I spent a lot of time working on these farms growing carob, figs, almonds, and olives.” These daily rituals shaped his relationship to the land. “Everybody knows the Algarve for its oranges,” he adds, 
remembering his family’s orchard. “I have good memories of my mother and my sister making lots of cakes—almond cakes, and sometimes orange cakes too.”
What João wants travelers to experience is that same connection: the gestures and flavors that tie people to place. “We still recognize these things—the tradition of fishing, the dry fruits, the rituals of picking and preparing. This is what I want travelers to connect with.”
Still, he knows it's not always simple. “The Algarve is quite diverse. It’s not just one story. A good connection to the people here is important.
