This is a photo walk to watch the sunset over the sea, while birds fly over the cliffs. The easy path winds along the coast to a panoramic viewpoint offering a stunning view of the Capo Nieddu waterfall—the only one in Sardinia that flows directly into the sea. As the sun sets, you'll see the landscape transform: golden light paints the cliffs and the sea. An expert photographer will offer advice on how to capture the beauty of nature through your lens.

In a slow-paced walk, you can enjoy the view without rushing, taking breaks to contemplate the sea and the majestic waterfall. You’ll savor a picnic featuring traditional Sardinian products, including carasau bread, local cheeses, cured meats, and a glass of Cannonau wine.

During the rainy season (January to April), the Capo Nieddu waterfall plunges directly into the sea 40 meters down a steep cliff, creating a breathtaking spectacle. Bernardo is a charming host who also peppers this experience with anecdotes about the locations covered, his career as a photographer, and Porteño life. 

Bernardo typically runs this experience in the La Boca neighborhood, where you will pose to an aesthetic backdrop of colorful tenement buildings and street art around Caminito. However, the location may be changed to another barrio such as Puerto Madero, Plaza de Mayo, or Palermo Soho. Bernardo uses a full frame mirrorless camera and pro lenses in order to achieve the maximum image quality. He also uses a professional flash lighting system with diffusers when the natural light isn’t sufficient.

This private photoshoot experience is hosted by a professional travel portrait photographer from Buenos Aires. Bernardo delights just as much in showing travelers around his home city as he does helping them to capture photographic mementos from their time in the Argentine capital. As such, his photoshoot is thoughtful and unhurried, allowing plenty of time to experiment with poses, lighting, and accessorizing (if desired).

La Boca, one of the prettiest and most beguiling neighborhoods, is the stage of the photoshoot. When asked about his love for Lisbon, Tiago’s enthusiasm is immediate: “I love my city! I really love the historic center of Lisbon!” Though he didn’t always feel that way. Growing up on the city’s outskirts, it wasn’t until returning after time abroad that he saw it anew. “It was as a young and independent adult with an arts and architecture degree, and with the enthusiasm to explore — that I realized how beautiful, diverse, and interesting my city is.”
For Tiago, connecting with a culture means full immersion. “You have to experience it with open eyes, heart, and mind,” he says. That means talking to locals, walking unfamiliar routes, listening more than looking. “Lisbon isn’t just to be seen, but touched, smelled, and tasted.” It’s not a checklist—it’s a presence.
He also names two challenges: First, Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods are deeply distinct—each like its own mini-city. “Lisbon is multidimensional. It cannot—and should not—be rushed.” Second, mass tourism threatens the local character he cherishes. Responsible travel, he says, is essential to preserve the culture.
As tourism evolves, Tiago points toward Lisbon’s under-known strengths. “Gastronomy, street art, tiles, contemporary architecture… there’s so much more to discover!”

Fez, Morocco, is home to the Bou Inania Madrasa, one of the most stunning examples of Marinid-era Islamic architecture. Built in the 14th century by Sultan Abu Inan Faris, this madrasa (Islamic school) served as both a center of learning and a place of worship. Unlike many religious sites in Morocco, Bou Inania is one of the few madrasas open to non-Muslim visitors, allowing them to admire its breathtaking zellij tilework, intricate wood carvings, and grand courtyard. A masterpiece of Moroccan craftsmanship, the madrasa is a must-visit for those interested in history, architecture, and photography.

Essaouira, Morocco, is home to the lively Moulay Hassan Square, the heart of the city’s social and cultural life. Situated between the historic medina and the bustling port, this spacious, pedestrian-friendly plaza offers a vibrant mix of cafés, restaurants, street performers, and local markets. Whether you're people-watching, enjoying a mint tea, or soaking in the lively atmosphere, Moulay Hassan Square perfectly captures the relaxed, bohemian spirit of Essaouira.

1. The square’s open-air cafés offer prime spots to enjoy traditional Moroccan tea or fresh seafood while watching the ebb and flow of daily life.

2. Surrounded by whitewashed colonial buildings with blue shutters, the square is a photographer’s dream, especially during the golden hour.

3. Local street musicians and performers often fill the square with the sounds of Gnawa music and other traditional Moroccan rhythms.

4. The square serves as a central gathering point for major events, including the renowned Gnaoua World Music Festival, attracting global artists and music lovers every year.

5. Located just steps from the Essaouira fishing port, visitors can watch fishermen bring in their daily catch or enjoy a fresh seafood lunch nearby.

Moulay Hassan Square

Patagonia – the land where the earth ends – must be one of the most unique places to visit in this world. I definitely felt this way, when I visited the glaciers, mountains, and rivers around. It’s a stunning place, and even though it’s quite hard to get there, the whole trip is completely worthwhile.

Patagonian hares, hawks, red foxes, geese, black-necked swans, flamingos, woodpeckers, skunks, pumas, condors, and the near extinct huemul deer – this place is for nature lovers. We’ve spent 1 month in Patagonia, exploring the fauna and flora, zipping warm chocolate next to the chimney of our bed and breakfast, and breathing the fresh air.

Save packing lightly for another trip – visiting the snowy landscape in Southern Argentina, you want to come as prepared as possible. Scarves, gloves, a winter jacket, boots, and lots of exchange clothes are a must.

Visit a rare phenomenon

On a sunrise photo-walk, we are at Piazza San Marco. At 5AM, it’s empty, other than for a few pigeons, and a photo enthusiast like ourselves. And we run across - with tripods - to get to the Canal looking out towards San Giorgio Maggiore Island.

Our objective? To watch and photograph gondolas swaying in the canals of Venice. It’s perfect for long exposure shots. The gondolas and docks are lit up by street lights and the sky has the perfect blend of dark and light.

We then rush over to the vaporetto stand near Europa & Regina Hotel overlooking Basilica di Santa Maria della Salute, for another Gondola scene (pictured) while the light is still good.

So, how many gondolas can you get into one frame?

We head out down the Grand Canal to the Rialto Fish Market. Some sellers are packing up after a good morning, but we’re able to get some great shots of everyday life. 

We walk back over Rialto bridge (great for photos of activity on the Canal) back to the hotel for breakfast.

Kordonboyu Seaside Promenade is a picturesque waterfront stretch along the Aegean Sea, where palm-lined paths and open green spaces create a relaxing atmosphere. It’s a favorite spot for both locals and visitors to take leisurely walks, cycle, or unwind by the sea. As the sun dips below the horizon, the promenade becomes a prime location to witness breathtaking sunset views.
1. The Aegean sunsets here are breathtaking, painting the sky with hues of orange and purple.
2. Wide walking and biking paths make it ideal for a stroll, jogging, or cycling.
3. Seaside cafes and restaurants serve fresh seafood and local delicacies, perfect for dining with a view.

Kordonboyu Seaside Promenade

Valencia, Spain, is home to the Turia Gardens (Jardín del Turia), a lush, 9-kilometer-long green space that winds through the heart of the city. Once the riverbed of the diverted Turia River, this sprawling urban park is now one of Spain’s largest city parks, featuring walking and cycling paths, playgrounds, fountains, and iconic landmarks like the City of Arts and Sciences. Whether you’re looking for a scenic stroll, a relaxing picnic, or an active outdoor adventure, Turia Gardens offers a peaceful retreat in the middle of Valencia.


1. Scenic walking and cycling trails stretch across the park, passing through lush gardens, bridges, and open spaces perfect for outdoor activities.

2. The City of Arts and Sciences, an architectural marvel, sits at the eastern end of the park, offering stunning futuristic views and some of Valencia’s top attractions.
