What is this?

Board a private vessel from the fishing port of Estepona—just 40 minutes from Málaga—and sail straight into one of the most unique wine and food tastings in the world. This 5-hour experience (including round-trip transport from Málaga) brings together sea-aged wines, artisan olive oil and fresh shellfish in an unforgettable sensory journey. You'll visit a protected maritime plot where two pioneers are aging wine beneath the sea—a process that transforms its flavor, structure and energy. A diver will retrieve barnacled bottles from the seabed, which you’ll taste moments later on the open water. Alongside this, you’ll sample KM0 oysters and scallops, cultivated in the same waters, forming a rare symbiosis between land, sea and wine. Completing the experience, Maria Reyes leads a tasting of her family’s award-winning Andalusian olive oil—designed to complement and elevate the wines and seafood. This sensory, educational, exclusive encounter is guided by the people who created them.

What makes this unique?

This is a one-of-a-kind, open-sea tasting led by the very people behind each element you’ll enjoy. You’ll meet the seafood cultivator, who’s restoring marine ecosystems with oysters and scallops. You’ll meet the visionary behind a floating, living lab of wine innovation—deep-sea wine aging—where pressure, movement and ocean rhythms enhance complexity and depth, letting wine evolve in structure and soul. You’ll not just hear about the process—you’ll see it, feel the elements and tasting the result moments after it’s retrieved from the seabed. Adding depth to the pairings, Maria Reyes brings her family-produced, early-harvest extra virgin olive oil aboard for a guided tasting at sea. The setting couldn’t be rarer: a private boat, Mediterranean breeze and a curated flavor symphony—wine, seafood, and olive oil—each with a story, each reflecting the coast you’re sailing along. This is a completely private, owner-led experience—off the tourist map and not open to the public.

What is the profile of the host?

This experience is hosted directly by a collective of artisans and innovators: the expert who cultivates oysters and scallops in open sea, the pioneer of underwater wine aging along the Costa del Sol, and Maria Reyes, your experience maker, and the fourth-generation olive oil producer with a family legacy in olive oil in Jaén. Each host brings not just their product, but their personal story and passion—making this a rare opportunity to taste, learn, and connect with the people shaping the future of food and wine on Spain’s southern coast.

What to bring?

Sun protection (hat, sunglasses, SPF). Soft-soled shoes or sandals for the boat. A light layer (it can get breezy at sea). Appetite for oysters, wine, and discovery.
