Emanuele Dello Strologo
What is this?
Trace the evolving skyline of contemporary Milan through the lens of Emanuele, a professional photographer. This experience leads you through Porta Nuova, a district that has redefined the city’s skyline with its futuristic towers and bold urban design. Starting in the afternoon, you’ll explore iconic landmarks like the Unicredit Tower—the tallest skyscraper in Italy—and the award-winning Bosco Verticale, where vertical gardens transform residential buildings into living ecosystems.
As you move through the area, your guide will share tips on composition, perspective, and light, helping you capture the contrast between glass, steel, and greenery. Piazza Gae Aulenti becomes the stage for the final part of the experience, just as the lights come on and the atmosphere shifts. The fountain’s reflections, the interplay of shadows and neon, and the golden hour create the perfect setting to explore the visual rhythm of Porta Nuova’s architecture with a trained photographic eye.
What makes this unique?
It’s in Porta Nuova that Milan’s transformation comes into focus—mirrored surfaces, sharp verticals, and unexpected voids that shift with the light and the time of day. This district tells a story of transformation, best understood not through facts, but through observation.
Emanuele shares a way of seeing shaped by over a decade of photographic work and by years spent reading urban spaces through his lens. With him, architectural photography becomes less about documentation and more about atmosphere, rhythm, and intent.
You’ll slow down, frame what you might have overlooked, and notice how reflections bend perspective or how a single passerby can alter a composition. What sets this experience apart is the encounter between a cityscape still evolving and a visual approach rooted in curiosity, detail, and storytelling—ending, like any true Milanese evening, with an aperitivo.
What is the profile of the host?

Emanuele focuses on reportage, portraiture, street and black-and-white photography—genres that continue to inspire him deeply. He often carries his camera with him, always on the lookout for meaningful moments in everyday life. His images reflect a keen eye for detail and a quiet curiosity about the world around him.
