Emanuele Dello Strologo

What is this?

Follow Emanuele, a professional photographer, through Milan’s most iconic landmarks and learn how to capture their essence with your lens. You’ll begin in front of the Duomo, where the intricate gothic façade, soaring spires, and the golden Madonnina offer striking visual details — especially as the sun begins to set. Emanuele will guide you in playing with angles, framing, and exposure to elevate your shots beyond postcards. From there, you’ll walk to the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, one of the world’s oldest shopping arcades. Under the soaring glass dome, you’ll explore reflections, shadows, and the elegance of symmetry among mosaics and ironwork. The session ends in Piazza della Scala, with a chance to photograph the famed theatre’s neoclassical architecture and the romantic curves of Palazzo Marino. Along the way, Emanuele shares compositional tools and perspective shifts to help you engage more deeply with the city’s visual rhythm.

What makes this unique?

This experience offers a different way to look at Milan’s most recognizable places. With Emanuele’s guidance, familiar landmarks like the Duomo or Galleria Vittorio Emanuele become opportunities to explore light, structure, and contrast — revealing angles and moods often missed at first glance. Emanuele is a professional photographer who has spent years walking the city with a camera in hand. His eye is trained not only on the grand architecture, but on fleeting shadows, reflections, and unexpected geometries. With him, even the most photographed spots come alive in new compositions. This is Milan seen from within: elegant, monumental, but also shaped by movement, weather, and everyday presence. The session invites you to slow down and observe the visual rhythm of the city’s center with more intention — shifting from what you already know to what you can truly see.
