This full-day private tour of Valparaíso, Viña del Mar, and the Casablanca Valley starts in Chile's colorful port city. Caleta Portales is a kaleidoscopic fishing village where the morning's catch starts its transformation into culinary magic. This is a full-day photography journey to the high Andean salt flats on the Chilean Altiplano. Located in the northeastern corner of the Atacama Desert near the border with Bolivia, Quepiaco, Quisquiro, and Tara are among the most visually striking and ecologically unique landscapes in the region. These salt flats—salars—sit at elevations between 4,000-4,500m (13,000-14,800 feet) above sea level and are part of the Los Flamencos National Reserve. Bounded by volcanoes and inhabited by flamingos and vicuñas, this is a remarkable setting for both landscape and wildlife photography.

At each salt flat, Mirko will explain the geological features of the wetlands and salt crusts, point out native wildlife, and provide practical instruction on how to photograph it. Because of the high elevation, this tour is best scheduled for your third day or later in San Pedro de Atacama, after you’ve had time to acclimatize.

This experience starts with a thrilling drive through the Martian landscapes of the Atacama Desert. This is a prime opportunity for quizzing Mirko about the region: it's natural history, its cultural legacy, and its wildlife. Salar de Quepiaco, Salar de Quisquiro, and Salar de Tara straddle the border between Chile, Bolivia, and Argentina. They provide a habitat for all three species of South American flamingos (Andean, Chilean, and James’s) as well as llamas, vicuñas, and Andean foxes. As part of the Andean Plateau (Altiplano), these salt flats hold cultural significance for Indigenous Atacameño communities. 

Mirko's experience contextualises the natural and cultural significance of the region. Rather than simply and shooting seeing the formations, you will feel the places visited—coming to understand how every element is intertwined. Primarily a photography expedition, the experience is focused on capturing landscape and wildlife photography under the guidance of a pro photographer.

For two decades, Remixuno has roamed the streets of the world, weaving tales of expression through vibrant murals that transcend borders and captivate the hearts of diverse communities. As a street artist, he is more than just an observer; he is a storyteller, a curator of emotions, and a conductor of connections. In situations where Remix is traveling to paint a mural, his colleague Tadeo will lead the experience. 

Having left his mark on the walls of Finland, Paris, Berlin, London, New York, LA, Bogotá, San Francisco, as well as his beloved Mexico City, he describes his journey as having been a colorful dance, replete with cultural symphonies and shared experiences.

This 4-hour cooking class shares Valparaíso's culinary legacy through four dishes celebrating the fusion of Chilean heritage and European influences from when the seaport was at its heyday. The cooking experience and wine pairing take place in the home of Al Ramirez, a sommelier and street artist from Valparaíso. In keeping with the spirit of "sobremesa", the cherished Chilean tradition of lingering around the table, the experience is unhurried and focuses as much on human stories as kitchen secrets. 

You'll start with every Porteño's favorite sharer—Calugas de Pescado, a platter of fried fish drizzled with lemon. Machas a la Parmesana (baked razor clams) follow suit while a pasta dish fusing Chilean and Italian techniques simmers on the stove. Dobladitas (French-inspired bread) served with pebre (Chilean salsa) or manjar (dulce de leche) completes the experience. This experience leads you through Porta Nuova, a district that has redefined the city’s skyline with its futuristic towers and bold urban design. Starting in the afternoon, you’ll explore iconic landmarks like the Unicredit Tower—the tallest skyscraper in Italy—and the award-winning Bosco Verticale, where vertical gardens transform residential buildings into living ecosystems.

As you move through the area, your guide will share tips on composition, perspective, and light, helping you capture the contrast between glass, steel, and greenery. Piazza Gae Aulenti becomes the stage for the final part of the experience, just as the lights come on and the atmosphere shifts. But João’s Algarve is more textured—what he calls the “poetic Algarve.” He cites writers like Sofia de Melo Breyner Andresen and José Saramago, who captured the soul of the region in images of sunsets, fruit, wind, and silence. For João, the true essence of the Algarve lies in its sensory landscape and the stories attached to it.
“In my youth,” he recalls, “many people came here, to the Algarve, and my family—like many others—had small farms. I spent a lot of time working on these farms growing carob, figs, almonds, and olives.” These daily rituals shaped his relationship to the land. “Everybody knows the Algarve for its oranges,” he adds, 
remembering his family’s orchard. “I have good memories of my mother and my sister making lots of cakes—almond cakes, and sometimes orange cakes too.”
What João wants travelers to experience is that same connection: the gestures and flavors that tie people to place. “We still recognize these things—the tradition of fishing, the dry fruits, the rituals of picking and preparing. This is what I want travelers to connect with.”
Still, he knows it's not always simple. “The Algarve is quite diverse. It’s not just one story. A good connection to the people here is important. Travelers are interested in how we live, how we spend the day, what we do.” This itinerary is João’s answer to that challenge: an immersive route where nature, food, craft, and memory guide the pace.
