This full-day experience immerses you in the Atacama's most dramatic scenery: its geysers, high-altitude wetlands, and volcanic highlands. Unlike most tours to El Tatio (Los Géisers del Tatio) which depart before dawn, Valeria's experience takes place once the crowds have thinned and the late-morning light draws out the remarkable hues of the minerals. This private ceramics experience invites you to create a mate drinking gourd from scratch. Over the course of 3.5 hours, you will learn about the entire process of modeling and decorating ceramics, culminating in a one-of-a-kind keepsake to take home and relive your time in Mendoza with every sip. While you shape and create your personalized gourd, you will sip on mate chosen by Lucila. Sharing mate (a caffeinated herbal beverage) is an integral component of Argentine culture and you'll come to understand why. He built the bar on a sandbar a mile off the coast in Parottee Bay out of driftwood (the wood was restored after Hurricane Ivan in 2004). In between dips in the turquoise water, you can sip a Red Stripe, eat freshly grilled snapper and play dominoes. Or catch up with Floyd at the bar. Someday, I’d like to watch the sunset from there.

The Museum of Innocence, nestled in Istanbul’s atmospheric Çukurcuma neighborhood, is a one-of-a-kind cultural experience crafted by Nobel laureate Orhan Pamuk. Inspired by his novel of the same name, the museum brings to life a poignant love story between Kemal and Füsun, set in Istanbul’s mid-20th century streets. France

There are so many museums and art galleries in Paris that it's hard to decide where to go first. Most tourists want to stand in line at the Louvre, admire Claude Monet, or visit the National Museum of Art – but as so few check out the famous street art of Paris, we knew it was our thing to do.
There is so much history behind each piece of art or painting out there that it is worth investing some extra money and time to immerse yourself in Paris's artistic exploration fully. We did a whole self-organized art walk visiting 7 streets, with an audio tour, and visited the different places on our own (though you can get a personal guide). 
Our highlight was Rue Saint-Maur – a 2km-long street painted mainly by the artist Kashink. The artist plays with classic elements of Parisian street art and combines them with modern political messages.

The Lisbon Botanical Garden, located in the heart of the city near the National Museum of Natural History and Science, is a lush, tranquil oasis filled with exotic plants, towering palms, and unique flora from around the world. Established in 1878, this garden originally served as a research space for the study of botanical species and remains an impressive representation of Portuguese dedication to scientific knowledge and environmental beauty. Visitors can stroll through a maze of pathways shaded by old trees, enjoying an escape from Lisbon’s urban hustle while uncovering diverse plant species collected from former Portuguese colonies across Africa, Asia, and South America.

Tip: Visit early in the day for a quieter experience, and don’t forget your camera! Photos of the vibrant flora and towering trees make for memorable souvenirs.
