Begin with pickup at your accommodation in Bordeaux and a drive north into the Médoc, where vineyards stretch between the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic. The first stop is a family owned winery. A guided visit introduces traditional production methods, and the tasting reflects the character of a long established estate developed over generations. Continue at an unhurried pace, with time for a French style picnic before returning to the vineyards. 

In the afternoon, visit a Grand Cru Classé château listed in the historic 1855 classification, that offers insight into Médoc’s prestigious wine traditions. Closeby, we will have a lunch at Trindade, a freemason inspired tiled restaurant, once a brewery and before, a convent.
