The day begins with a visit to an ecological winery in the area accompanied by our expert guide, followed by a visit to the town of Vejer de la Frontera, which is considered one of the most beautiful towns in Spain. You will learn about its story through its impressive Arab legacy. You will get to know its walls and you will be able to walk through its narrow streets where you will be surprised by its beauty. Of course, you will always be accompanied by our guide who will be your perfect host in this town. Bayraklı Smyrna Ruins

A slow-paced night photo walk. On foot over odd shaped cobblestones. 

It does not start well as it starts raining even as we take a cab to Pantheon to meet our local photographer and lose a wallet in the cab. We miraculously get It back (another story) and we start our walk .. lethargic, in deference to summer, but still aware of art and life.

We walk from the Pantheon through Piazza Navona to Ponte Vittorio Emmanuel for views over to the Vatican.  The streets are wet, and Piazza Navona is teeming with Romans doing la passeggiata, an evening ritual I wish we could reapply in other cities. 

Later, joining the locals in their celebration of Summer along River Tiber (Lungo il Tivera Roma) well into midnight, it is easy to forget all about work and settle more definitively into a vacation frame-of-mind. 

Afterwards, a stroll to Campidoglio for priceless views of the illuminated Roman Forum, seems like just the thing to do.

Anafiotika Neighborhood

San Spiridione Church is a testament to the city's multiculturalism. This magnificent Serbian Orthodox church, dedicated to Saint Spyridon, a Greek Cypriot saint, showcases a splendid Byzantine style that dates back to 1869, reflecting the city's unique position at the crossroads of Europe's major ethnic and religious communities. Top highlights:
1 - The church's striking appearance, with its multi-domed structure, captures the essence of Byzantine architecture. Constructed from pearly white Istrian stone, the large central dome is flanked by four hemispherical cupolas. The front façade is adorned with nine statues by Milanese artist Emilio Bisi, each contributing to the church's grandeur and artistic significance.
2 - The interior of San Spiridione is a realm of tranquility and beauty. The iconostasis, adorned with mid-nineteenth-century icons painted in Moscow and later covered in pure silver and gold plate, signifies the church's historical and spiritual depth.

Look for candleholders donated by Risto Škuljević, a ship owner and philanthropist, and numerous other items of significant religious, historical, and artistic importance.
