Andrea, your expert guide, has spent over 10 years working in Turkish wine and is passionate about sharing her knowledge. Whether you prefer reds, whites, or even amber wines, she will tailor the tasting to your preferences and guide you through each step of the journey.
What is the profile of the host?
Originally from Michigan, Andrea has lived in Turkey for over a decade and is a recognized expert in Turkish wines. A casual drinker for years, her “come to wine” moment happened in Turkey where she stumbled on a rich tapestry of native grapes and was taken aback by the country’s exceptional wines. Since this revelation, she has dedicated herself to learning about and promoting Turkish wine while garnering formal wine certifications along the way. As the author of the first comprehensive book on Turkish wine, The Essential Guide to Turkish Wine, Andrea brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to the table. She has a knack for making the complexities of wine both accessible and enjoyable, encouraging wine lovers to explore the lesser-known yet fascinating world of Turkish wine.
