What makes this unique?
During Malaga's Holy Week, the Semana Santa processions feature grand pasos, or floats, intricately depicting scenes from the Passion of Jesus Christ. Devoted costaleros, dressed in protective gear, train year-round to carry these floats through narrow streets. Some of these floats are over 300 years old, a testament to locals' unwavering dedication. From a private balcony on Calle Larios, you'll witness costaleros bearing the immense weight of the floats, showcasing their faith and sacrifice. You'll also observe the nazarenos, dressed in robes and hoods, a tradition rooted in repentance and anonymity. In case of rain, the venue of this experience will be inside some of the city’s grandest churches. Our exclusive tour grants insight into this centuries-old tradition, creating enduring memories.
