What is this?
This is an immersive, participatory storytelling journey set within Marrakesh’s ancient medina—an experience designed for families or close-knit groups seeking something more extraordinary than a typical walking tour. At its core is a private treasure quest: a live narrative inspired by Moroccan folklore, architecture, and oral storytelling tradition.
You’ll begin in the storied Jamaa el Fna square, where you're given a parchment map and ceremonial roles rooted in myth and history. From there, you’ll follow a path through seven hidden locations—each unfolding with its own atmospheric clue, folkloric character, or living riddle. The goal: reach the lost Music Palace, uncover the tale of the hidden prince and princess, and claim your Moroccan treasure. Along the way, the medina becomes your playground. With guided performance, handcrafted artifacts, and moments of delight, this is a modern-day folktale written through movement, memory, and the magic of Marrakesh.
What makes this unique?
This rare-access, exclusive cultural encounter is choreographed by a local master storyteller as a private, high-touch storytelling experience. Every element is artfully designed: the map is handcrafted, the palace is real, and the characters you meet—genies, guides, and guardians—are performed by trained Moroccan storytellers drawing from centuries-old traditions.
The experience moves through seven sites within the medina, each chosen for its symbolic connection to Marrakesh’s layered past. Rather than sightseeing, you become part of a live narrative—decoding stories, solving riddles, and navigating moral and mythological thresholds. Each participant adopts a ceremonial role designed to foster creativity, play, and reflection.
The use of real medina locations—markets, courtyards, tucked-away corners—creates a magical gameboard. Puzzles are inspired by Amazigh symbols, Andalusian tiles, Sufi poetry—turning the experience into an active exploration of Morocco’s layered heritage.
