Emanuele Dello Strologo

What is this?

Start your visual journey at Castello Sforzesco, where towering ramparts, crenellated turrets, and grand courtyards set the stage for dramatic images. You’ll explore the scale and texture of this historic fortress, learning to compose both expansive architectural shots and intimate details, like sculpted portals and weathered stone surfaces. From there, stroll into the lush expanse of Parco Sempione, tracing shaded pathways along romantic ponds, framed by treetops and classical sculptures. Emanuele encourages you to experiment with natural light, reflections in water, and the contrast between greenery and stone, revealing the park’s serene moments alongside its grandeur. Your path leads to the Arco della Pace at dusk — when its elegant white marble glows against a darkening sky. By the end, you'll walk away with a cohesive series that blends history, nature, and architecture into a single, unforgettable visual narrative.

What makes this unique?

What sets this experience apart is the richness of visual contrast: the massive walls and Renaissance courtyards of the Castello Sforzesco give way to open green space, curved paths, and the clean lines of the Arco della Pace. These transitions between eras and materials offer an evolving landscape that challenges your sense of composition and invites you to look more deliberately. Emanuele, a professional photographer, offers precise guidance on framing and perspective to help you capture the castle’s imposing presence with clarity and depth. As you move through changing light, he encourages subtle adjustments that bring structure and mood into harmony. At the Arco della Pace, Emanuele assists in adjusting exposure and scale to highlight the monument’s neoclassical beauty — framed by trees, mirrored in puddles, or glowing against the last light. The result is a visual narrative shaped by contrast, rhythm, and spatial relationships.
