What is this?
You're invited into a tiny living room tucked inside a bustling market, where Federico has recreated his Nonna’s home with wallpapered walls, vintage objects, and a table full of childhood flavors. This 10-square-meter corner is a tribute to family memories, bringing to you the recipes his grandmother used to cook at home for him, his grandfather, and the rest of the family.
You’ll taste pasta, meatballs, mini panini with ragù, and other traditional recipes from a Roman family just as Nonna served them. Federico cooks in front of you and tells stories of growing up between pots of tomato sauce and lovingly strict grandmothers who always said, “You must become stronger!” Every bite is served with a glass of wine and a dose of nostalgia.
The atmosphere is spontaneous and warm—there’s even a piano you can play. It’s a celebration of simple pleasures and the affection that only a Nonna’s kitchen could hold. A delicious slice of Roman life, as seen through the eyes of a devoted grandson.
What makes this unique?
This experience is shaped by the warm, exaggerated affection that only an Italian Nonna could give. Federico and Nicla welcome you with the same spirit their grandmother showed to anyone entering her kitchen—generous, affectionate, and a bit theatrical in the best way.
Every Nonna had her way of doing things, and this space, which will be exclusively reserved for you during the experience, reflects that: a setting recreated with care and irony, where every detail brings back the spirit of a Roman Sunday lunch. As you eat, you’ll hear stories, jokes, and memories that evoke the strength, tenderness, and stubborn generosity that made grandmothers the true architects of Italian family cuisine.
Lunch becomes a moment of inclusion—just like when Nonna used to call in friends, neighbors, and whoever happened to be passing by, insisting there was always enough for one more. Here, every plate carries a story, and every guest becomes part of the family.
