What is this?

This is a curated dive into Paris’s contemporary art scene and ecosystem. With Phil — antique specialist and art dealer with a long career between France, Switzerland and the US — you’ll step into galleries where the city’s creative pulse beats strongest. The route shifts between Rive Gauche and Rive Droite, shaped by your interests and Phil’s instinct for what will inspire you most. He knows where to find daring young galleries scouting tomorrow’s names and where to unlock the doors of storied institutions presenting the masters of modern and contemporary art. Along the way, you’ll catch the rhythm of Parisian artistry: a mix of discovery, dialogue, and the thrill of being right where trends take shape. Whether you are hunting for a one-of-a-kind piece or simply eager to immerse yourself in the flow of ideas, Phil makes the journey unforgettable. His expertise opens perspectives, his stories add layers, and his warmth turns the hours into a shared adventure in beauty.

What makes this unique?

Phil Mevel brings the dual perspective of an antique specialist and seasoned art dealer, combined with a network built globally over the years. In Paris, he knows which galleries matter — those shaping the conversation today, whether through rediscovering modern masters or championing bold new voices. Instead of wandering blindly, you move along the veins that keep the city’s artistic landscape alive. Phil opens the right doors and creates the chance to meet the people behind them. Gallery owners and artists welcome him, and by extension, you, into their world. Conversations flow naturally, stories emerge, and you gain an insider’s sense of how ideas and movements take form. The difference lies in Phil’s eye and his way of sharing it: approachable yet rigorous, relaxed yet deeply informed. You finish the experience with a clearer vision of Parisian art, enriched by encounters and narratives that make the city’s creativity feel personal, vivid, and unforgettable.
