A full-day gastronomic adventure that takes you through the enchanting landscapes of Istria, Croatia. This experience begins with a pick-up from your accommodation, ensuring a seamless start. The tour involves a visit to a renowned truffle hunting family-run business for an interactive truffle hunt followed by a truffle-infused brunch. The journey continues at a goat farm, where you can savor organic, seasonal cheeses and learn about sustainable farming practices. The tour, lasting about 7.5 hours, is a deep dive into the culinary heritage of Istria, blending gastronomic pleasures with insightful learning experiences.

EatIstria guide picks up the guests at their accommodation, followed by a drive to our first stop, a truffle-hunting family in the surroundings of Motovun forest in central Istria. After a welcome drink, the guests are taken to the forest for a truffle hunt with the family's specially trained dogs. A three-course, all truffle-based brunch follows, accompanied by a short lecture on truffle hunting. Before the departure, the guests get to visit the family's shop with a wide assortment of truffle-based products. 

The next stop is Istria's most renowned free-range goat farm, where guests get to hear a short lecture on the production of cheese and herding the goats, meet the animals, and sample the renowned cheese. The guests are then driven back to their accommodation. 

The per person price of this experience assumes a minimum number of participants to cover base costs and logistics. The supplemental fee enables us to maintain quality and exclusivity for your smaller than minimum group

Truffle Hunt | Cheese Trail

This tour accommodates a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 participants. Inclusions - Pick-up/drop-off, truffle hunt, brunch, cheese tasting, farm tour, and guided experiences. Throughout the tour, comfort and convenience will be a priority, with transportation provided to and from each location.
