Departing from and returning to the city of Valparaíso, this full-day wine experience takes you to three wineries in the Casablanca Valley. The youngest wine region in Chile is nourished by the cool breezes and morning fogs of the Humboldt Current, thus producing crisp Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc varieties. Al Ramirez, a Porteño Sommelier, will accompany you for the entire day. The outing starts with a blind tasting of four wines at the first winery. At the second estate, you will enjoy four organic wines paired with four cheeses. The third and final stop concludes with a four-course pairing lunch. Al will share his insights into Chilean wine heritage and culture, accrued through decades of experience working as a Sommelier. At each estate, he will introduce you to winemakers and serve as a liaison bringing to life tales from the vineyards. The meal provides a final opportunity to converse with Al to the idyllic backdrop of Chile's cool-climate wine region.

If Al is unavailable to host on the day of your booking, his Casablanca Valley wine experience will be led by a trusted sommelier friend who is also an expert and passionate about Chilean wines, deeply knowledgeable, and loves sharing stories and tips in a relaxed, approachable way.

Bring your curiosity, a large appetite, and comfortable clothing for a day in the vineyards. A light jacket or layers are recommended as the weather in Casablanca Valley can shift. Sunglasses, sunscreen, and a camera are also great to have on hand.
