Argentina

Saddle up for a 1.5-hour horseback trek in the Andes Mountains, carefully timed to coincide with sunset. As the last of the light fades, you will return to the gaucho estate to continue the evening, socializing with the family over a traditional Argentine asado (barbecue) featuring roasted vegetables, salads, fresh bread, and local Mendocinian wine. After dinner, gather around the bonfire with a glass of wine and enjoy a brief folk guitar session—a traditional gaucho touch that brings the night to life under a sky heavy with stars.

This experience includes pickup and return to your hotel in the city of Mendoza. Upon arrival at the mountain ranch, you’ll get acquainted with your horse and receive a brief safety lesson—novices through to experienced riders are accommodated. This creative photography experience in Buenos Aires is designed for newbie photography enthusiasts, those with existing knowledge about composition, and advanced photographers seeking ways to improve their cityscape and landscape photography. The locations are a variety of rooftop settings with remarkable views of the city, many of which are not known by tourists or are even off-limits to the average sightseer. 

During the course of the route, you will take in a panoramic view of Puerto Madero, Corrientes Avenue, and its Obelisk from an exclusive rooftop perch. You will soak up 360-degree views of Florida Avenue and the beautiful domes of May Avenue from a 14-floor aerial viewpoint. You’ll spy the historically poignant Plaza de Mayo from the Cabildo balconies and gasp at the sight of Recoleta Cemetery view from two bird’s eye vantage points—one of which is restricted to the general public. This rooftop photography excursion elevates your experience in Buenos Aires to new heights! Most of the locations are high-altitude spots which are unknown or even closed to foreign travelers. Bernardo will take you to locations where you will not have to compete with hoards of other travelers and selfie sticks. In each setting, you will have time to thoughtfully compose your imagery and experiment with different configurations on your camera. This immersive, sensorial experience spans two half-days, honoring the ancestral craft of sourdough bread-making. Inspired by the ancient Greek myths of goddess Demeter and her daughter Persephone, it combines bread-making, storytelling and mindful rituals that honor the sacred grain of wheat.

On the first half-day, you’ll learn about the ancestral art of sourdough breadmaking, delving into the significance of wheat in ancient Greece and its connection to Demeter. Through a mindful practice, you’ll prepare the dough, engaging with the wheat, your senses and the land of Athens. The bread is left to ferment overnight.

On the second half-day, you’ll bake the bread and share it in a ritual of togetherness. Paired with curated seasonal local foods, this mindful eating ritual fosters community and gratitude. This transformative workshop combines hands-on learning with cultural, mythological and spiritual elements, offering practical baking skills and a deep connection to ancient tradition.

Demeter taught mortals the art of bread-making. In this ancestral sourdough bread-making workshop, we’ll revisit ancient bread-making traditions and the types of bread the Ancient Greeks created. We’ll connect with our bodies, the ancient land of Athens, and the wheat itself.

Through hands-on learning, you’ll physically engage with ancestral methods of bread-making, deepening your connection to the craft and the stories behind it. The workshop also nurtures mindfulness in eating habits and respect for ingredients, transforming the approach to food in everyday life.

Community is emphasized through collaborative learning. This place is located 100 km far from my home  and its in fundy national park New Brunswick canada  and its really amazing place the water falls looks soo good when you look with your nacked eyes  its a fresh water fall and the water also taste good we did hiking as well as had some snacks with my homies its a great location to come out for a good day and a good hike and have spend you day in nature i am a huge nature lover and i love to be in nature when i am on my off days i am so much indulge in nature activities like camping fishing bonfire start gazing from mountains bagpacking etc etc

My taxi driver, Chand, tries his best to persuade me to change the plan - “K.R. Market is a complete mess in the rainy season”, he argues, and for effect, twists his head around to the back seat to look at my tunic, shakes his head, and declares woefully — “You will be covered in mud and smelly water”. Sadly for him, I can’t resist a wholesale flower market. 

At sunrise every day, the southern end of Avenue Road lines up with a couple hundred flower vendors. Business between 5 to 8 a.m. is hectic and noisy.. Since it’s well past 10 a.m. now, I weave my way instead through stalls of vegetables, fruits and spices to find the building where these vendors disappear to after their morning sales. 

Chand is right about the mulch smells and slushy floors.  Climb up to the second floor to find a quiet spot to view the action from above. Or wander through the narrow passages, as I do, stepping around baskets full of flowers. 

For the record, my tunic remains mud-and-slush-free.
