From the Gotico you'll cross over into El Born, one of Barcelona’s most vibrant neighborhoods whose lively lanes are filled with boutique shops, tapas bars, and artisan workshops. El Born is where the city’s creative heart beats today. 

Here, you'll walk over to visit Santa Maria del Mar, a Gothic church known as much for its architectural purity as for its connection to the people who built it. It's a favorite church in Barcelona, famed for its soaring columns, luminous stained glass, and serene beauty.

You’ll begin with a private visit to a contemporary fashion atelier — a chance to meet the designer, see their workspace, and understand the creative process behind Catalan style. 

El Born provides energy, charm, and hidden cultural treasures. Its most eviocative church is Santa Maria Del Mar. The church's interior is notably sparse in imagery, a result of damage from a fire in 1936 during anticlerical disturbances. Despite this loss, including the destruction of the Baroque retable by Deodat Casanoves and Salvador Gurri, some stained-glass windows from various periods have survived, contributing to the church's luminous atmosphere​​.
