This unique art-centered experience in an artist's studio, offers a rare and exclusive opportunity to delve into the world of Moroccan contemporary art scene. During a round-trip day visit, accompanied by a Comptoir des Mines Galerie curator, you will drive to the artist's studio, for an intimate exploration of art and creativity. During the drive, the curator will introduce to the gallery's story and a background to the artistic journey ahead.

You will be invited on a detailed guided tour of the artist's studio, personally led by the artist and the curator. This part of the experience is rich in insights, as you will learn about the artist's journey, their techniques, the deeper messages behind their works, and the cultural and historical influences that shape their art. The tour is interactive, encouraging guests to ask questions and engage in meaningful dialogue about the art and its broader implications.

This curated journey begins with a scenic drive, winding through Morocco's breathtaking landscapes, setting the stage for what's to come. The gallery plays a pivotal role in enriching Morocco's and the broader Arabic art culture and fosters a deep personal connection between the audience and the artists.

In this experience, you are granted exclusive access to an artist’s studio, where you directly engage with the artist, delve into their process, and uncover the stories behind their works. This immersive experience includes interactive discussions, insights into the cultural and historical influences on art and concludes with a shared meal with the artist and curator. It's a distinctive window into the artistic soul of Morocco, accentuated by the landscapes beauty.

A light, shared meal providing an informal yet profound opportunity for conversation, deepening your understanding of the art and its creator. The menu will include local Moroccan specialties, typical of this land (e.g., Moroccan salads and couscous with vegetables and meat). This is followed by the drive back to Comptoir des Mines Galerie, Marrakesh.

depending on the location of the studio and the availability of both the team and the artist, you are invited to discuss these matters further with our team.

The Journey

Accompanied by the curator, you’ll meet the artist in their studio for a comprehensive tour that includes the artist's presentation, exploration of works and techniques and insights into their messages. This is interactive, allowing questions about artistic, cultural, and historical contexts. Artworks available for acquisition may be showcased and discussed.

This is the highlight of this Experience and allows for an unparalleled depth of insight into the artist's personal journey and the cultural influences that shape their work.

The Immersion

Discover contemporary Moroccan art through a unique artist studio visit alongside an expert curator.

Part I : The ride (30-180 minutes)
Be greeted and accompanied by our curator for a round-trip drive to the artist's studio. On the way, get introduced to the story of the gallery and enjoy moroccan scenery.

Part II : The immersion (60-90 minutes)
Alongside with curator, meet the artist in his studio moving onto a guided tour through the artist's presentation, works, techniques and messages, while answering any questions you might have about artistic, cultural and historical matters. Available works might be presented at that time.

Part III : The dialogue (30-60 minutes)

The per person price of this experience assumes a minimum number of participants to cover base costs and logistics. The supplemental fee enables us to maintain quality and exclusivity for your smaller than minimum group

Journey to an Artist's Studio

This experience accommodates a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 8 participants. Included: Private experience with curator and artist. Round-trip transfer in a premium vehicle between the gallery and the artist's studio (air-conditioned, water and phone charger included). Lunch and refreshment at the artist's studio (allergies to be shared with us). 

This experience varies based on the studio's location and the availability of the team and the artist on the day of your booking.

For an optimal experience, we advise dressing in smart casual or casual chic attire, complemented by comfortable shoes suitable for the ride and studio exploration. Please note that flip-flops, shorts, and backpacks are discouraged. We encourage our visitors to dress respectfully, mindful of local cultural norms. Tip: Don't forget your camera to capture those unforgettable moments.
