The experience begins in Aix-en-Provence, with a walk through the historic centre along the streets and markets that shaped the world of Paul Cézanne. Squares, fountains, artisan shops, and market stalls reveal the character of the town, while stories of Cézanne and the artistic life of Provence accompany the walk.

Late in the morning, a scenic drive takes you south through the landscape dominated by Mont Sainte-Victoire, crossing the mountain’s southern flank above vineyards and Provençal villages, the same mountain that appears again and again in Cézanne’s paintings. You then stop for lunch in the village of Puyloubier, beneath the mountain, on a shaded square beside the fountain.

In the afternoon, the experience turns to the Sainte-Victoire wine area, with tastings at two vineyards set against the mountain. The first is a small producer committed to biodiversity, with vines planted on high slopes. The second is a family-run winery known for its wines.

Following Cézanne in Provence brings together three ways of experiencing the same landscape in a single day. You first encounter Mont Sainte-Victoire through Cézanne, who returned to it repeatedly in his paintings. You then cross the landscape itself, before arriving in the vineyards that still shape its slopes today.

Aix-en-Provence, Mont Sainte-Victoire, and the vineyards beneath it are not treated as separate stops, but as parts of the same story. The day moves from Cézanne’s world to the physical landscape that inspired him, and then to the people who continue to work that land.

Croatia

Experience the traditions of Croatian cuisine with a 5-hour Peka cooking class set on a picturesque family farm in a village near Dubrovnik. Beginning in the morning, this immersive experience introduces you to Peka, one of Croatia’s best-known traditional dishes. Though it may look simple at first, Peka requires real skill and experience. 

At the center of the experience is the peka itself, a dome-shaped lid under which meat and vegetables are cooked slowly, either in a fireproof pot beneath the coals or directly on a stone slab. You’ll learn how to prepare this hearty dish, usually made with veal, lamb, or yearling beef, along with potatoes and other vegetables.

The experience also includes time among the family’s olive groves, where you’ll learn how the olives and oils are produced and enjoy a tasting session. It culminates in a farm-fresh Peka lunch, served with the family’s own wine, offering a true taste of the Dubrovnik countryside.

As the founding partner at DBG Architecture and Massantiago, his work focuses on architectural design, the restoration of heritage buildings, and urban planning. Diego has also organized conferences and exhibitions on Latin American architecture in collaboration with Guiding Architects Network, the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zürich (ETH). The walk takes 5-6 hours with stops and is best done in spring or autumn, when the plateau is green and the light is sharp. Though not technically difficult, there are some steady inclines and exposed terrain, so good walking shoes and sun protection are recommended.

The Kik Plateau offers an expansive, open landscape that contrasts with the steeper, more rugged trails of the central High Atlas. Ponta da Piedade

Shibuya Crossing, or Shibuya Scramble Crossing, is a popular scramble crossing in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan.[1] It is located in front of the Shibuya Station Hachikō exit and stops vehicles in all directions to allow pedestrians to inundate the entire intersection. The statue of Hachikō, between the station and the intersection, is a common meeting place and almost always crowded.

Three large TV screens mounted on nearby buildings overlook the crossing, as well as many advertising signs. The Starbucks store overlooking the crossing is also one of the busiest in the world. Its heavy traffic and inundation of advertising have led to it being compared to the Times Square intersection in New York City and Piccadilly Circus intersection in London.
