What is this?

This is a unique day in the Janda region, where you’ll witness wild bulls roaming freely across protected pastureland. Begin with an off-road tour of a traditional cortijo led by the ranch’s owners, who'll share their deep knowledge and passion for the species and the land they inhabit. Afterward, enjoy a gourmet lunch with local wine served in the heart of the estate. The experience continues with a horseback riding session through the surrounding landscapes—whether you're learning the basics or refining your skills, experienced instructors will guide you. For those interested in understanding Andalusia’s cultural heritage, there's an optional class focused on the art and history of bullfighting—strictly non-violent and educational in nature. This is designed to offer respectful insight into the traditions and techniques that have shaped local identity, without harm to animals. Throughout, ou’ll witness the ecological role the bull plays in preserving Andalusia’s rural identity.

What makes this unique?

It’s rare to gain this kind of access to a wild bull ranch set deep in nature. This private tour blends cultural immersion, rural adventure and authentic food into one thoughtfully curated day. You’ll traverse the ranch’s rugged trails and sweeping pastures with the family who’s lived this legacy for generations—offering stories, insight, and a firsthand look at how this tradition supports local ecology and community life. The bulls are not just symbols; they are caretakers of the land, and you’ll come away understanding their vital role in preserving the dehesa landscape. The horseback ride offers a deeper sense of the terrain and rhythm of rural Andalusia. And for those willing to explore a layered topic, the optional class about bullfighting invites dialogue and firsthand insight into an ancient tradition—without violence, and with full attention to animal welfare. By the end of the day, you’ll have touched a world few travelers get to see, rooted in land, care, and continuity.
