Embark on an adventure to observe the majesty of wild bulls in their natural habitat: the Janda region. You will begin with a tour of a traditional cortijo on an off-road vehicle, observing majestic bulls in their natural habitat. The owners will personally guide you, sharing their passion for the species. You will later indulge in a gourmet lunch with wine, set within the heart of the ranch.
Following lunch, you will experience a horseback riding class around the landscapes of the area, you will learn the basics of horse riding or refine your skills under the guidance of experienced instructors. For those seeking an extra thrill, an optional ethical and non-violent class of bullfighting is available, to gain a unique perspective on its cultural significance. You will immerse yourself in the scenic beauty of the region and understand the ecological importance of the bull for the region, while respecting the welfare of these magnificent animals.

Your host will be an expert, possessing extensive knowledge of the area and its surroundings where bulls roam freely. They are deeply acquainted with the nuances of bull breeding and husbandry, offering insights into the traditional practices and cultural significance of bullfighting. With a keen understanding of the local landscape and its impact on bull rearing, they will provide you with an immersive experience, showcasing the unique bond between the land, the bulls, and the time-honored tradition of bullfighting.
What to bring?
Comfortable clothes and shoes, depending on the time of the year. In summer it will be hot, so be prepared with a good hat and cool clothes. In winter, bring your coat. In spring and autumn a trench coat will be enough. Prior to the visit, we will inform you about our recommended clothes in more detail.
How do we get there?
Fly from Madrid to Jerez (1 h), or take a train Madrid - Jerez (4 h) or Seville - Jerez (1 h). Meeting point in Vejer will be specified prior to the visit.
