What is this?

Discover powerful murals inside some of Mexico City’s most iconic historic buildings. Muralism was a movement born in the early 20th century, and aimed to bring revolutionary ideals to the public through grand, vivid murals that fused politics, history, and culture. On this private, immersive walking tour through the heart of the Historic Center, you’ll step into buildings that are both cultural landmarks and living canvases. You’ll explore monumental works by legendary artists such as Diego Rivera, David Alfaro Siqueiros, and José Clemente Orozco—figures who transformed public spaces into bold expressions of social change. You’ll explore some of the city’s most iconic buildings, along with hidden gems that showcase the power and significance of muralism. From grand cultural landmarks to lesser-known treasures, each stop reveals the deep connection between art and politics. Along the way, we’ll make a stop for tacos at a local, delicious spot—a true taste of Mexico City.
