Discover the vibrant cultural heritage of Bitti on this immersive full-day adventure. Start your journey at the Museum of Peasant and Pastoral Civilization, where you’ll delve into the UNESCO-recognized art of Tenor Singing and learn about two key figures: the insightful anthropologist Michelangelo Pira and the artist Diego Asproni.
Next, venture to the Nuragic Village of Romanzesu, a vast village-sanctuary immersed in an unspoiled oak forest and granite outcrops near Tepilora Park, where ancient water cult sites reveal Sardinia’s fascinating Bronze Age history. Savor a traditional Sardinian lunch at a local agriturismo, then customize your afternoon to suit your interests. You can visit the Terra Pintada ceramics workshop, embark on a scenic hike in Tepilora Park, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve encompassing approximately 8,000 hectares of unspoiled forests, springs, and waterways, or enjoy a fun-filled experience at the family-friendly Bitti Rex Dinosaur Park.
