You'll meet a local beekeeper who has tended hives here for generations, suiting up to step inside a working apiary before tasting a range of honeys shaped by native flora — heather, chestnut, rosemary, and wildflower among them, each with its own character.

Lunch follows at a traditional farm belonging to a leading local producer, sampling a range of regional dishes. You'll then carry on to a scenic viewpoint over the terraces and river, before settling in for a quiet ride on a solar-powered boat gliding past those same hillsides.

You’ll have time to take in the layout of the valley, recognize the textures of what you’ve tasted, and notice the slow patterns of rural life: a tractor on a distant ridge, smoke rising from a chimney, rows of vines wrapping a hillside.
