You’ll take a short break here for coffee and pastries before hitting the road to visit a small family-run vineyard in the countryside. The owners will welcome you with open arms, showing you around the vineyards and regaling stories of their ancestors while handing you a glass of their latest harvest. After the guided wine tasting, you’ll be welcomed for lunch in the home of another small producer to enjoy a seasonal, home-cooked meal shared around the family table. The drive back to Porto follows a slower, scenic route through terraced hillsides and river views with a couple of stops to take in the sights.
