What is this?
This cinematic experience on Etna moves through wine, fire, and local tradition, turning the day into a visual story. It follows a route across the volcano through wineries, a distillery, and a historic pastry shop, all held together by filming that makes you part of the final narrative.
The day begins with breakfast in a historic pastry shop, where you discover the story of the family and their savoir faire. It then continues through two prestigious wineries, with tastings and lunch as you encounter the flavors and atmosphere of Etna’s slopes, where wine rises from fire and carries an ancient story. The experience stays close to the people and traditions that give this area its identity.
You are guided by a film director and an assistant director who were born and raised here and have personal relationships with everyone you meet. Through vineyards, barrels, lava, and conversation, you discover a territory where visual storytelling grows out of place and human connection.
What makes this unique?
This experience is about food, wine and craft grown on Etna. It's designed for two guests only, with the day shaped around the closeness that Vladimir and Alfio have with Etna. They were born and raised here, and continue to explore this territory through cinema. The people you meet are not pre-scheduled contacts brought in for the tour, but part of a world they have known for years. That changes the tone of every encounter and gives the day a warmth that cannot be staged.
You're welcomed into personal stories and places: the people behind wines grown in volcanic soil, a pastry family that has made sweets on Etna since 1880, and a historic distillery that has produced artisanal liqueurs since 1870. Each stop carries its own memory, work, continuity.
That same thread now includes you. Your time on Etna — and your passage through the stories that have grown on its slopes — is filmed throughout the day and turns into a professionally shot and edited film, sent to you a few days later.
