Isabella, affectionately known as Isa, was born in Calabria but has made Rome her true home. Twelve years ago, she embarked on a new chapter in the city she had always dreamed of. Perhaps the wish she made at age nine—when she tossed a coin into the Trevi Fountain—really did come true, setting her on a path to a fresh start. A passionate art historian with a PhD in History of Art, she is also a licensed tour guide, official running coach, and soon-to-be archaeologist. In 2016, she launched ArcheoRunning, a project that fuses her love for Rome’s history and culture with her passion for running. More than just guided tours, she offers immersive running experiences, allowing people to explore the city through gentle, mindful movement. It’s not about speed or competition—it’s about well-being, discovery, and joy.
