Ponte da Misarela, a medieval stone bridge enveloped in legend, arcs gracefully over the Rio Rabagão in northern Portugal, a structure as rich in history as it is in lore. Dating back to the Middle Ages and rebuilt in the 19th century, it sits at the bottom of a steep ravine, isolated and majestic, supported by a single arch spanning 13 meters. According to legend, the devil himself crafted this bridge.
