In the Chocó Cloud Forest, in the Mashpi Reserve, in the midst of all the fog and mist, in a place so covered with trees that little sunlight comes through, is a fantastical cable ropeway. 200 feet above the forest bed, it feels more a part of the invisible skies than the earth below. One has to “pedal” to get from one end to the other after a short hike from the Mashpi Lodge. It’a an eco-activity atfter all. A memorable experience!
