This private workshop offers hands-on access to one of Spain’s oldest and most iconic ceramic workshops: the Fajalauza factory. Founded in 1517 and still operated by the Morales family, Fajalauza has been shaping the visual identity of Granada for over 500 years.

You’ll begin with a private tour through its original production site and museum—home to ancient kilns, hand-thrown molds, and decorative pieces that reflect the fusion of Islamic and European styles. As you explore, you’ll learn how Granada’s ceramic language evolved across centuries, adapting to dynasties and shifting cultural forces while staying rooted in the local soil.

Then comes your own initiation into the craft. Guided by master artisans, you’ll sit at the potter’s wheel for a “baptism of clay,” shaping a vessel from scratch. This experience immerses you in the rich tradition of Karagöz, the ancient Turkish shadow puppetry that has entertained audiences since at least the 16th century. Guided by Cengiz Özek, a shadow theatre master, you’ll learn about the roots of this traditional art popularized in the Ottoman Empire and considered an Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 2009. Karagöz performances were a staple of Ottoman life, used as a platform for satire and social commentary, often held in coffeehouses and public squares​.

First of all, we will meet with the attendees at our puppet museum located in, Faikpaşa Caddesi which is full of old buildings, antique and creative stores. We will make a small tour for the collection we have in the puppet museum from all over the world. After the small tour, we will have local tea and cookies with the attendees. We will start to explain the written history that we have from the beginning 16th century: how Karagöz traveled, how he expanded and how he lives today.  
Then we will get our tools to experience the process of making: 
- Deciding which part of Karagöz will be made, 
- shaping the camel leather with special tools(cutting, carving, piercing) 
- Painting the figure
(Tips of shaping the leather will be shared.)
Finally, with a full figure, all attendees see and experience of acting the figure on a shadow theatre curtain.

This exclusive experience is a cultural tour crafted for a couple looking to immerse themselves in the heart of Seville’s flamenco traditions. It begins with a personal styling session for the woman, where a local expert will recreate the iconic Feria de Abril ritual. Chile

This full-day photography excursion takes you to two contrasting natural wonders in the Atacama Desert of Chile: the Valley of the Moon (Valle de la Luna) and Rainbow Valley (Valle del Arcoiris). It is hosted by Mirko, a professional photographer specializing in landscapes and wildlife and a licensed guide. Upon leaving San Pedro de Atacama, Mirko will pull over at one of his favorite viewpoints to appreciate the sunrise over the Andes mountain range. While sipping coffee and sharing a breakfast of marraqueta bread rolls, you'll warm up your photography skills for the day by shooting the soft morning light. 

You will then explore the ravines and dunes of Moon Valley, coming to understand how it earned its name. After lunch at a local restaurant in San Pedro de Atacama, you'll head to the Cordillera Domeyko to study the 3,000-year-old petroglyphs of Yerba Buenas before ending the day in the multi-colored Rainbow Valley.

Mirko has selected these two locations for their contrasts. The morning is spent exploring the salt mines, rugged amphitheaters, and sweeping dunes of Moon Valley where Mirko will explain the geological anomalies. By visiting early in the day, you're spared the inevitable afternoon crowds and have a more relaxed photographic experience. 

The afternoon takes place at two of the Atacama Desert's hidden treasures: Yerbas Buenas and Rainbow Valley. Yerbas Buenas (Hierbas Buenas) is an open-air exhibit of pre-Columbian rock carvings which provide insight into ancient Indigenous cultures. Mirko will explain the symbolism behind the petroglyphs and how these served as more than pretty pictures! In Rainbow Valley, the mountains are painted hues of red, green, white, yellow, and blue as a result of the oxidation of different mineral deposits over millions of years. You will arrive in time to catch the soft light of the waning sun. Lunch in town serves as a way to chat informally with Mirko.

Growing up on the city’s outskirts, it wasn’t until returning after time abroad that he saw it anew. “It was as a young and independent adult with an arts and architecture degree, and with the enthusiasm to explore — that I realized how beautiful, diverse, and interesting my city is.”
For Tiago, connecting with a culture means full immersion. “You have to experience it with open eyes, heart, and mind,” he says. That means talking to locals, walking unfamiliar routes, listening more than looking. “Lisbon isn’t just to be seen, but touched, smelled, and tasted.” It’s not a checklist—it’s a presence.
He also names two challenges: First, Lisbon’s historic neighborhoods are deeply distinct—each like its own mini-city. “Lisbon is multidimensional. It cannot—and should not—be rushed.” Second, mass tourism threatens the local character he cherishes. Responsible travel, he says, is essential to preserve the culture.

Chile’s Puritama Hot Springs are a hidden oasis in the Atacama Desert, offering a series of geothermal pools surrounded by lush vegetation in an otherwise arid landscape. Located about 30 km (19 miles) from San Pedro de Atacama, these natural thermal baths are rich in minerals and maintain a soothing temperature between 28–33°C (82–91°F). With wooden walkways connecting the pools and breathtaking canyon views, Puritama provides a relaxing and rejuvenating experience in the heart of the desert.

If you want a more adventurous Mexico City street food experience, there's no better place to venture than Mercado de San Juan, known for serving up crawlies and edible insects. 

Famous for being Frida Kahlo’s weekly shopping spot, Mercado Coyoacán is a little more expensive, but once you've tried the Tostadas de Coyoacán or fresh pulpo, you’ll forget about the price. For more hipster, upper-class street food, you can also try Mercado Roma – I’ve had some delicious sweet Pan de Los Muertos.
